La Perle Aqua Show by Dragone

Dubai’s first resident theatre show

If you’re a fan of gravity defying acrobatics and aerial stunts, then you’ll want to be among the first to take a seat at La Perle by Dragone. Located in the heart of Al Habtoor City, it will be the region’s first permanent show when it opens after the summer, staging an impressive 450 performances a year.

All the action will take place inside the purpose-built 1,300-seat theatre, which has been designed especially to provide an immersive experience. This is achieved thanks to its hi-tech ‘aqua-stage’, which is filled with 2.7 million litres of water and has the ability to transform from an aquatic stage to a dry platform as needed.

You’ll be on the edge of your seat watching the cast of talented artists perform breathtaking feats. From diving into the water from a height of 25 metres to flying around the auditorium on high-powered winches at a speed of 15 kilometres per hour – it promises to be nothing short of amazing.

The show is masterminded by Franco Dragone, one of the world’s most sought-after artistic directors and the visionary behind theatrical spectacles including Celine Dion – A New Day, Le Rêve in Las Vegas and The House of Dancing Water in Macau. He said: “New and unique for the region with the world’s best creative team and incredible performers, La Perle is inspired by the spirit of Dubai and will reflect the beauty and flavours of Arabia.” 

Performances run Tuesday to Friday at 7pm and 9:30pm and Saturday at 4pm and 7pm.
