Dubai Water Canal is a 3.2 km man-made waterway. It stretches from the Creek in Old Dubai, flows through Business Bay, and finally reaches the Arabian Gulf. Since opening in 2016, the canal has transformed Downtown Dubai into a vibrant urban waterfront.

The Dubai Canal promenade features 6.4 km of pathways on both sides. These wide, well-lit trails are perfect for walking, jogging, or cycling. Whether early in the morning or during sunset, it’s a peaceful way to experience the city.

There are five pedestrian bridges crossing the canal. Each one offers photo-worthy views of the city. One bridge stands out — Tolerance Bridge, known for its elegant purple arch. In 2017, it was renamed in honour of the International Day of Tolerance.
